About

A counsel practice rooted in Welsh client work

Foxmere Investment Counsel exists to give households and owner-managers a calm place to sort pensions, investments, and company cash decisions — with written advice that their accountants and solicitors can use.

Origin

Margaret Foxmere opened the practice after years advising clients who kept receiving product illustrations without a household income picture. The office at Wunsch-upon-Jacobi was chosen to stay close to South and Mid Wales families while remaining reachable by video for clients elsewhere in Great Britain.

Mission

We aim to leave every client with a document they can reread in six months — not a vague sense that “something was arranged.” Fees are stated before analysis. Scope exclusions are listed as carefully as inclusions.

Working approach

Meetings begin with documents and cash-flow questions. Recommendations follow only after we understand essential spending, dependents, and existing wrappers. We coordinate with accountants and solicitors when company pensions or estate plans sit beside investment advice.

Values that show up in the paperwork

  • Honest referral when a case needs specialist lending, tax counsel, or legal drafting
  • Respect for existing relationships with accountants and solicitors
  • No pressure to implement recommendations in the same meeting they are presented
